Began at Kanchanaburi province
In the province of Kanchanaburi, near the Mae Klong Dam, a delightful story began over fifty years ago. Mae Lumpha started making traditional Thai desserts in her home, selling treats like Krayasart, Coconut Flavoured Sticky Rice, and Kanom Mor Kaeng. As her desserts gained popularity, she expanded her menu to include a variety of coconut milk desserts, Golden Drops, Mock Sweet Jackfruit Seeds, and more, all beautifully packed in small boxes.
In 2003, her daughter, Khun Ratchada (known as Poo), and son-in-law, Khun Wirat, decided to take her desserts to a larger audience. Both experienced in banking, they saw potential in expanding the family business. Poo took courses in advanced Thai desserts and bakery techniques, paving the way for the creation of the Pan Kham Hom brand. This led to the founding of VRP Food & Bakery Co., Ltd., located in Tha Maka, Kanchanaburi. Today, the company offers over 400 products, including traditional Thai desserts, bakery, cakes, cookies, snacks, food and beverages.
